Maxo Kream, the 28 year old rapper from Houston, Texas is still very underrated and unnoticed by most hip hop fans. Although he does have a decent amount of clout, he’s not referred to as the GOAT as he should be by this point in his rap career. In 2016, he released the persona tape which had features with Playboi Carti and Rich The Kidd. Many other very popular songs such as “Mars (feat. Lil Uzi Vert)” and “Fetti (feat. Maxo Kream & Dash) show his ability to collaborate with other very successful artists. Trippie Redd even made an appearance on his debut album in 2018 Punken. Still his name has yet to be recognized. This album also includes his hit song “Grannies”, which is not only the type of song you can listen to with your boys on the way to a party, but also the song you would listen to if you want to know a little more about Maxo Kream’s wicked teenage years of drug dealing, stealing and even killing. His creative, well-crafted bars should be more noticed and less slept on.
